Households in Scotland are being offered interest free loans to assist in running their homes more efficiently and to install renewable technologies. The Home Energy Scotland Loan Scheme was launched on May 2^nd 2017 with loans available of up to £32,500.

The scheme is open to owner-occupiers and private sector landlords who wish to install new energy efficient measures that include external or internal wall insulation, double glazing and boilers. There is a total of £34 million in funding available and Cashback grants are also available for a limited time.
